About Even Keel Wellness & Physical Therapy

Even Keel, founded in 2021, is comprised of a variety of services related to fall risk prevention. As a physical therapist, Jocelyn Woodason encountered many patients who sustained injuries from falls. Upon discussing the circumstances surrounding the falls, Jocelyn recognized several contributing trends, which were completely preventable. Instead of only educating and rehabbing patients after an injury, Jocelyn decided to start Even Keel, a preventive wellness practice.
Even Keel gets its name from a combination of Jocelyn’s passions: balance and sailing. The keel on a sailboat is the structure along the bottom of the vessel that increases stability of the boat. ‘Even keel’ is defined as being stable and balanced; working and progressing smoothly and steadily.
Our prevention and exercise programs will ensure you stay on an even keel and progress toward an independent lifestyle.
